Privacy Policy
Applies to the Read Me service.
This is a reference translation. The original was written under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the Korean version prevails in case of any discrepancy.
1. What we collect
Read Me has no sign-up. We do not collect your email, phone number, or address. We ask only for what the analysis needs.
- A name to address you by (we do not verify whether it is your legal name, and we never use it to identify you)
- Gender (used to determine the direction of the luck cycle)
- Date of birth, and whether it is solar or lunar
- Time of birth (optional — you can say you do not know it)
- Region of birth (province level — used to correct for true solar time)
- Your 28 assessment answers, interests, and current-situation selection
- Usage records (funnel step, device type, referral source) — stored only in a form not joined to your name or birth date
2. Why we use it
Your birth details and assessment results are used solely to generate and display your personalised report. They are never used for ad targeting and are never joined with advertising platforms.
3. Sharing and processors
We do not sell or hand your personal data to third parties. We do use the following processors to run the service.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — report generation. Receives your chosen name, birth date, birth time, computed chart, and assessment scores.
- OpenAI — result-card background image. Receives only symbolic descriptors derived from the chart; your name and birth date are not sent.
- Payment provider — authorisation and verification (we never store payment details)
- Cloud hosting and database providers — data storage
4. Retention and deletion
A session stays valid for 7 days from your last visit so you can reopen your result. After that, your birth details and analysis are deleted automatically within 30 days.
Payment and transaction records that Korean e-commerce law requires us to keep are retained separately for five years. Those records do not include your birth date or birth time.
5. Your rights
You can reopen your own data any time through your result link. To have it deleted, email park.koh.works@gmail.com with your result link or customer number and we will delete it without delay. Clearing your cookies ends access to a session in progress.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your progress. The session cookie is httpOnly. We also use cookies for your language choice and to record an invite link. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
